Willett Family Estate Bottled Bourbon is a very unusual whiskey in many regards. The Bourbon label exists for the sole purpose of their familys Private Barrel Selection program, and is the only label of its kind in existence. It is an un- chillfiltered, barrel proof, straight Bourbon Whiskey of unusual depth and complexity.
Nose: Aromas of corn, caramel, toffee and vanilla.
Palate: Corn, caramel, toffee and vanilla with a hint of spice.
Finish: Lingering finish hinting of toffee and citrus.
The Willett Distilling Company or Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, as it is also known, is a small, family-owned company that markets Bourbon and Rye Whiskey. Theyre located in Bardstown, Kentucky. As a relatively large independent bottling company, theyre called the big daddy of Bourbon and Rye Bottling.
