Under the watchful eye of fourth generation Master Distiller Juan Carlos Gonzalez Diaz, Corte Vetusto Espadn Mezcal is produced. Before distillation, the agave is cooking in traditional earthen pit ovens, with mesquite specially chosen to heat said ovens for the flavours it imparts on the final spirit. This particular expression is made using the Espadn variety of agave – a favourite of Mezcal producers across Mexico. The spirit is double distilled before bottling at 45% ABV.
