Their flagship bourbon, Yellowstone, is a blend of sourced whiskies, but Yellowstone 2015 Limited Edition marks Limestone Branchs first release using some of their own whiskey, distilled onsite using the Beam brothers recipes. The Beams use an original family recipe to craft their Yellowstone Bourbon, and they even used some of their great-grandfathers original yeast from 1885 to make their mash. The brothers pride themselves on honoring their familys rich history in the whiskey-making business. The Yellowstone 2015 Limited Edition would have made their great-grandfather very proud.

Yellowstone 2015 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey | Limited Edition Tasting Notes

Nose: Caramel corn, nuts, vanilla, toasted grains, acetone and some bits of spice and citrus.

Palate: Hazelnuts, caramel corn, vanilla, oak, acetone and a light bit of spice.

Finish: Medium fade of acetone, oak, spice, caramel and cinnamon.

Distillery Information

The distillery was truly a family affair. They decided Lebanon would be the perfect location because its just a stones throw away from the now-long-gone distilleries of the familys past. And, local grain and limestone water, both so essential for the unique and personal recipes, is readily available.
