The rum is a selection of 8 year old rums from copper column-stills, aged in ex-bourbon casks with a maceration of locally sourced chocolate that adds the natural chocolate flavor.

Nose: Despite the high-proof, the bouquet is nicely balanced with toffee, vanilla, and dark fruits.

Palate: Sweet, deep, complexity of toffee, molasses, dried black figs, oak char, vanilla, tobacco, and cinnamon.

Finish: Strong and long finish.

Distillery Information

This product is been developed by Caribbean Rum Factory in Las Cabras Distillery, based at west of Panama City. Using a columns distillation process, this traditional continuous distilling process was first implemented in the industry at the early 1800s.

Caribbean Rum Factory use a combination of the Cuban traditional method for aging and blending and the ancestral Spanish method, giving as result this extraordinary Rums.
