This is the Rich Peat Edition of Angel’s Nectar blended malt. Produced using Highland malts, this has a pleasing smokiness with notes of toffee apples and dark chocolate.

Angels’ Nectar Rich Peat Edition Highland Blended Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Very rich on the nose, with aromas of butter toffees, stewed fruit, brine and preserved lemons. Fresh notes of pine and menthol, too.

Palate: Plenty of peat and smoke, but balanced by a rich sweetness, along with apple slices fried in butter, toffee chews and some background cinnamon from the cask. Smooth mouthfeel and good weight.

Finish: The rich, smoky peat gently fades.
