As part of its Monologue series, indie bottler Chapter 7 has released this glorious single cask from the Allt–Bhainne distillery. After distillation in 2008, this single malt was matured for eight years, and spent a finishing period in Islay whisky casks, before bottling in 2021, giving this Speysider an unusual little peaty, coastal tang! A total of 298 bottles were produced.

Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.

Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.

Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
