From the Single Cask comes… Well, a single cask bottling! That’s kind of their thing. Anyway, this is a single cask Allt–Bhainne, distilled in July 2000 and matured in one hogshead until August 2021. It was then bottled up at 56.5% ABV, with an outturn of only 199 bottles.

Nose: Floral barley with a layer of vanilla cream, banana chips, roasted hazelnuts.

Palate: Butterscotch, raisins, waxy apple peels, chocolate buttons.

Finish: A touch of fizzy oak and citrus zest.
