Nose: This one is just as fab on the nose, maybe a little rougher, peatier and certainly more maritime. Much closer to todays profile, more medicinal, with lots of iodine, something nicely sour, lemon juice, fresh oysters (Davin says gay oysters, dont ask me why). Gets then extremely farmy, on wet dog, hay, turnips Then motor oil again, tar Again a fabulous one!

Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.

Finish: Finish is long, spicy and smooth.

Ardbeg Distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery in Ardbeg on the south coast of the isle of Islay, Argyll and Bute, Scotland, in the Inner Hebrides group of islands. The distillery is owned by Louis Vuitton Mot Hennessy, and produces a heavily peated Islay whisky.
