It is non-chill filtered and has an ABV of 46%. It is made on the Scottish island of Islay and was first produced in 1975. The color is a deep copper color and the nose is heavy with rich, complex flavors of peat, smoke, and vanilla. The palate is well balanced with flavors of caramel, chocolate, and fruit. The finish is long and sweet with flavors of vanilla, smoke, and toffee.
