Armand de Brignac Ros is an elegant and delicious basket of red fruits as described by Chef de Cave, Jean-Jacques Cattier. The vibrant rose hue is given from the inclusion of 15-17% of still red wine, harvested from old Pinot Noir vines that produce fruit with great flavor intensity. The assemblage comprises 50% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier and 10% Chardonnay and is a trio of vintages; 2009, 2010 & 2012.Each iconic, metalized bottle is finished by hand, with the application of French pewter labels, polished, and housed in a wooden lacquered gift box, ensuring every single bottle is unique. Champagne Armand de Brignac Gold Brut makes for a timeless keepsake and a truly memorable gift. Ideal as an aperitif or pairs beautifully with truffled veal, duck confit and wild salmon. Nose: Strawberry, currants and cherry abound on the nose, with floral hints and a touch of sweet almond.

Palate: The red grape dominance brings a structured palate filled with black fruits, cherries and hints of baked pastry. The Chardonnay brings the lightness and elegance.

Distillery Information

Armand de Brignac, colloquially known as the “Ace of Spades” after its logo, is the name of the tte de cuve Champagne brand produced by Champagne Cattier and sold in opaque metallic bottles. The brand’s first bottling, Armand de Brignac Brut Gold, is identifiable by its gold bottle with French pewter Ace of Spades labels. The Armand de Brignac champagnes are produced in a multi-vintage style (like Krug’s Grande Cuve), and the Brut Gold cuve is a blend of the grape varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay. Two other cuves, a Ros and a Blanc de Blancs (100% Chardonnay), were released in 2008. In 2015, a Demi Sec and a Blanc de Noirs (100% Pinot Noir) also joined the range.
