Black Button 2017 Collaboration Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: This Whiskey starts out with aromas of sweet malt, followed by subtle oak and spice undertones.

Palate: On first sip, a touch of honey and vanilla sweetness makes its way over the tongue.

Finish: Then ending with an easy finish and an exhale of more oak and vanilla.

Distillery Information

The Black Button Distillery is a small business set up and run by Jason Barrett, which takes its name from his familys long history of producing buttons for mens suits. Barrett broke tradition, and instead of taking over his grandfathers button factory, he turned to distilling. Barrett opened the distillery at the age of just 24, in 2013. Back then, it produced just one Gin and a couple of moonshines (or white Whiskies). Today, the distillerys portfolio has expanded to include three Bourbons, a Vodka, and another two Gins due for release in 2017.
