Bulk neutral grain spirit is infused with fresh spring Douglas fir buds. The infusion is re-distilled then the distillate is sweetened to 10% sugar with agave nectar and proofed with water. They harvest the buds in early May from land that was clear cut 5-7 years before and re-planted. They cut six inches of new growth, no more than 1/3 of any one tree.
