Campbeltown 10 Year Old Chorlton Blended Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: The nose has a lovely freshness, with milk bottle sweets, sea air, melon, pineapple, chalk, little medicinal touches and wintergreen.

Palate: The palate has an amazing texture and body: oily, fat, lemony and coastal, with toffee, rosemary, touches of peat.

Finish: Salty finish.

Distillery Information

Distilling took place on the remote Kintyre peninsula as early as the 16th century, as travellers from the nearby Irish coast of Antrim (just 12 miles away) brought their methods to Scotland by way of Campbeltown. Although unconfirmed, there’s a likelihood that Campbeltown is where Scotch whisky began.
