This smoky Caol Ila single malt has seen quite the maturation! Distilled in 2011, it spent most of its ageing in a bourbon hogshead. Though before it was bottled the whisky was transferred to a first-fill cask which previously held Koval Four Grain American whiskey! The limited edition Islay whisky was bottled up for Murray McDavid’s Benchmark series at eight years old, weighing in at 46% ABV.

Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.

Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
