Distillery: Carlisle Gin

The city of Carlisle has long been without its own gin or distillery, though this bottle here is on its way to changing that. The gin was created in order to kickstart the process of building a distillery, though the gin is not currently wholly produced in Carlisle. Carlisle Dry Gin is a fairly traditional juniper forward gin, blended with fresh spring water from the Eden Valley before it is bottled at 40% ABV.

Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.

Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.

Finish: Lingering finish.
