Chateau Arton Haut 2006 is only produced from years showcasing exceptional quality with age, and selected from only the very best barrel never blended. A minimum of 10 years of age in Gascon oak barrels, brought to 43% ABV. Chteau Arton uses a higher amount of Colombard in its base wines because the variety is well-suited to the terroir of Gascony and adds crisp floral and citrus notes.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.

Finish: Finish is smooth and long.

Distillery Information

The Domaine d’Arton consists of 50 hectares of land, lying on the plateau of Lectoure, in the heart of Gascony. The Domaine produces several quality wines – ranging from whites, reds, a ros and dessert wines – and a rare Haut Armagnac contrl brandy. Also released are a special line of reserved Eau de Vies – of Pear and Plum – and a liqueur from fresh Vine Peach.
