It’s That Boutique-y Rye Company’s very first bottling of Empire Rye, released for its Rye Series! Back in 2015, a group of New York State distillers created a consortium to to establish a whiskey style for the state they call their home. The result is Empire rye, an homage to New York’s pre-Prohibition rye history and testament to the skills of its modern distillers. This particular expression is a blended Empire rye spirit, made with Empire rye from 9 different distillers in New York, all brought together to show off what the style and state has to offer! Batch 1 is a release of 685 bottles. That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
