Each bottle contains a portion of whiskey made on Washington’s stills in the newly reconstructed distillery on the museum grounds in Mount Vernon, Virginia.s

Nose: High rye content on the nose with a whole-grain cracker aroma. Grain spice and tame the intense oakiness.

In 1799, George Washington’s distillery produced nearly 11,000 gallons, making it one of the largest whiskey distilleries in America at the time. Today, a faithfully reconstructed working distillery produces small batch spirits on site and is open to visitors.
