This elegant Gourry de Chadeville Overproof is distilled exclusively from 100% Ugni Blanc grapes. The eaux-de-vie is double distilled in a copper pot-still on the lees, in minimal 25 hectoliter quantities before being matured for thirty months in seasoned Limousin oak and finished in foudre for six months (a total of three years). This artisanal gem is a rare addition to any collection.

Distillery Information

Gourry de Chadeville was founded in 1619. Situated in the capital of the Grande Champagne appellation, Segonzac, it is the oldest Cognac House in the region. Pierre Goursat Gourrys family has been distilling Cognac since the early 17th Century. Taking over his familys estate in 1996 Pierre is now the 15th generation distiller working this small (10ha) estate. PM Spirits has been selecting some of the best single casks from his cellar and bottling them full-strength.
