This spirit spends time in brand new charred American oak barrels to receive depth of character, mellowness & color from the wood. Then it rests in premium used Rye Whiskey barrels that aged small batches of Pure Orange Extract. The result is this unique Rye Whiskey, with a touch of enhanced pure and natural orange flavor beyond what traditionally comes out of new oak barrels. The extra hint of orange in this whiskey sets the stage for the perfect Old Fashioned cocktail.

Nose: The nose is is a very nice surprise filled with vanilla, oak and chocolate malted milk balls.

Palate: It is a very light mouth-feel and drinks slightly hot from the very start. It is a mid-mouth experience with a lot of action on the roof of the mouth. A light flavor of caramel corn with some sweet vanilla and light cinnamon is briefly present.

Finish: A medium to long finish dominated by pepper and orange.
