This one is a 13 year old Inchfad single malt, which is the name Loch Lomond uses for its heavily peated whisky, and it’s been finished in a Pedro Ximnez sherry octave cask, which has helped to impart a fair whack of sherried brilliance. A brilliant combo of peat and sweetness to tuck into here.

Nose: Flamed orange peel with a hint of smoky malt carrying on, plus cinnamon sticks and fresh root ginger.

Palate: Chocolatey notes begin to take shape on the palate, with soft, savoury hints of new leather and sea salt continue on.

Finish: Roasted hazelnuts, chocolate chip cookies, salted butter.
