The Albany Distilling Company was founded in 2011 and is the city’s first licensed distillery since Prohibition. Their bourbon is distilled in small batches using New York State grain and bottled at 43% abv. When done aging bourbon, the whiskey barrels get a second life finishing their amber rum.

Nose: Notes of rye toast caramel vanilla.

Palate: A hint of smoke on the palette.

Finish: It is finished with mineral rich hill country artesian spring water.
