Jefferson’s Presidential Select 21 Year Old Straight Bourbon Whiskey consists of 15 lots of bourbon aged from 21 to 24 years, rumoured to have been found in the coolest spots within an undisclosed warehouse. This is an extremely limited rye heavy Bourbon release, which follows the highly acclaimed 17 year old and 18 year old Stitzel Weller, wheated Bourbon bottlings.

Jefferson’s Presidential Select 21 Year Old Batch #8 Straight Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: Aroma of vanilla, molasses, caramel and roasted nuts.

Palate: Initial notes of pecan pie and orange marmalade on the palate are complemented by touches of cinnamon, black pepper, cardamom and oak.

Finish: Long, elegant finish has light floral undertones along with a smooth, vanilla cream flavor accented by a hint of caramel.

Distillery Information

Founded in 1997, Jeffersons is the brainchild of Trey Zoeller and his father Chet, a famed bourbon historian. They were continuing a family tradition that goes back to Treys 8th generation grandmother who was arrested in 1799 for the production and sales of spirituous liquors. To personify the brand, they chose Thomas Jeffersonknown for his curiosity and experimental spirit. This is a mindset to which Trey has dedicated himself, pushing the boundaries of the definition of bourbon. Upholding tradition, yet always discovering new possibilities.
