Created by Cyril and Julie Laudet who are located in the heart of the appellation in Landes Bas Armagnac, this Armagnac had a minimum of 21 years of age with half of the blend being drawn from stock which are ages over 30 years. Here we have an Armagnac with considerable depth of flavour and complexity, intensely aromatic it is all at once fine yet powerful. Layers of spices, dried fruits, wood, tobacco and chocolate all drawn together with a wonderful warmth and textured mouthfeel. Best enjoyed relaxing in a large leather armchair. Luxurious!

Nose: It has the aromatic complexity of an old armagnac, straight and elegant: exotic wood notes melted to tabacco and cacao aromas, a trip into Authenticity.

Palate: Layers of spices, dried fruits, wood, tobacco and chocolate all drawn together with a wonderful warmth and textured mouthfeel.

Finish: Rich and smooth.

Distillery Information

For nearly two centuries now, the Laudet family produces the Chteau Laballes Armagnacs on the estate. From the vineyard management to the years of aging, everything is done to extract and preserve the most of the Sables Fauves soils singular characteristics. The vines are cherished and soils worked to highlight the iron oxide (main characteristic of Sables Fauves) that brings a subtlety and fullness specific to the Chteau Laballes Armagnacs.
