WoodWinters found this cask at a Scottish distillery where it had been held for over ten years, having made it’s way over from Cognac itself in a most unusual and, as of yet, unexplained journey, accompanied by a sister cask of Armagnac.Having effectively become an early landed Cognac, WoodWinters bought the cask, code-named ‘Kenmay 1’, and bottled it at a cask strength 56.3% ABV, completely unfiltered, to retain the Franco-Scottish character of the vintage 1993 Cognac.

Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.

Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.

Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
