Laurent-Perrier first produced a zero-dosage champagne in the 19th century. The house resurrected this style in 1981 with the introduction of its Ultra Brut at a time when no other zero-dosage champagnes were made. The first entirely new release from the House of Laurent-Perrier in over three decades, this brut nature with zero added sugar offers fresh minerality, hints of citrus and a crisp, clean finish. Laurent-Perrier’s Blanc de Blancs is aged for over 6 years and is made from 100% of Chardonnay Premier Cru grapes. It received a 94pt rating from James Suckling.

Nose: Minerality and hints of citrus.

Palate: The wine is well balanced on the palate with a fresh finish of notes of lemon.

Finish: The Blanc de Blancs is a true wine for gastronomy pairing, especially with the finest fish: salt crust sea bass, scallops, grilled marinated squid with lemon thyme and olive oil. It also pairs very well with white meats such as veal.

Distillery Information

Established in 1812, Champagne Laurent-Perrier has a long tradition of innovation in Champagne and can be credited with many of the ideas that have defined Champagne production since the mid 20th century. Laurent-Perrier was among the first to introduce stainless steel fermentation tanks to the region in the 1950s, resurrected the non-dosage Champagne category with the introduction of Ultra Brut in 1981, and sparked the revival of non-vintage ros Champagne in 1968 despite the opinion of other producers that non-vintage ross were not to be taken seriously. Today, Laurent Perrier’s iconic Cuve Ros remains the benchmark for non-vintage ros champagne.
