A 10 year old Lopold Gourmel Cognac, matured in un-toasted French oak casks – a characteristic of the range, along with the non-use of chemicals and pesticides when growing the grapes. Fun fact – Lopold Gourmel’s logo is a horse head because the man the house is named after (founder Pierre Voisin’s grandfather) was a horse saddler by profession.

Nose: Richly nutty, lots of crushed almond notes here. Soon grows very fruity with plum and orange.

Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in taste.
