Armagnac is the idiosyncratic style of Brandy made in the Gascony region in South West France. Vintage may be presented either as Armagnac or Bas-Armagnac. Selection of distillations from different production areas of the designation. Ageing of each vintage harvest at the property and in Lannepax followed by blending of spirits from selected barrels of the vintage in order to create armagnacs of deep and intense character. Distinct wood with rich notes over spicy flavours and a finish of great aromatic length. Notes of rancio in spirits over 35 or 40 years old. Displayed in a wooden box.
Nose: Dark amber with hints of copper, delicate nose with aromas of sweet spices (cinnamon and ginger) and light tobacco.
Palate: Fine tannins with flavors of butter and spices that linger, leaving on the palate the sensation of a beautiful brandy.
Finish: Long and lingering.
