The folks at Mosgaard in Denmark have produced a wonderful cask-aged gin here! Their classic dry gin, with its array of botanicals such as juniper, anise, lemongrass, almonds, cloves, and citrus is matured for eight to nine months in ex-bourbon and ex-Pedro Ximnez sherry casks, imparting an excellent balance of oaken vanilla character.

Nose: Crisp juniper and liquorice, with wafts of lemon, orange and sweet, woody vanilla.

Palate: Gentle caramel combines with cardamom, anise and oak for a sweet and softly spicy finish.
