Ramazzotti, they are one of the oldest manufactures of Amaro in Italy, founded in Milan 1815 by Ausano Ramazzotti. Now part of the Pernod-Ricard stable, they make a wide range of products including this herbal liqueur flavoured with mint. It’s delicious served very cold as a digestif. Nothing to do with ’90s Italian crooner and all-round heartthrob, Eros Ramazzotti. Do look him up on YouTube, though. Pi Bella Cosa is a good song.

Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.

Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.

Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
