Rock Town Arkansas Bourbon is distilled with a high-corn mash bill, consisting of 82% corn, 9% wheat and 9% malted barley. The whiskey is aged in a combination of 15 and 25-gallon new charred oak barrels. From milling to bottling, Rock Town handles the entire production process from their Little Rock facility.

From the Rock Town Distillery in beautiful Arkansas, comes their Arkansas Bourbon Whiskey (previously known as the Arkansas Young Bourbon, which won Double Gold in the Small Batch Bourbon 10 Years and Younger and a Gold in Best Bourbon – No Age Statement categories at the San Francisco World Spirit Competition 2013). With a new name and a new label, this delicious, small batch bourbon is just as handsome as before, brimming with corn, vanilla, plump raisins and a hint of oak.

Rock Town Arkansas Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: The nose offers corn, cereal grain, vanilla and oak, with some sharpness hidden away back there.

Palate: The palate starts dry and oaky, but opens up to reveal a richer sweetness, with brown sugar and molasses as the finish kicks in, along with cinnamon and spice.

Finish: Long.

Distillery Information

Rock Town Distillery, located in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, was founded in 2010 by Phil Brandon. His wife Diana and a group of Phils associates are also on the Rock Town team. The distillery uses corn, wheat and rye grown only in Arkansas, within a 125 mile radius of the distillery.
