Distillery Information

The distillery Saint James in Martinique located at Sainte-Marie develops the largest range of Agricultural rums from pure sugarcane juice. The canes, planted on the eastern side of the Mont Pele, enjoy a privileged location: volcanic earth providing fertile soil, a high level of sunshine, and a tropical and humid climate swept by the Atlantic sea sprays. Every Saint James rum comes from the fermentation and distillation of pure sugarcane juice. This technique gives the rums very aromatic notes, a fruity taste, making them perfect for aging in oak barrels.
