A juicy, flavoursome gin from Tanqueray, built around the brilliance of blackcurrant! Inspired by Charles Tanqueray’s journeys to France, this expression features four of Tanqueray’s classic botanicals, alongside French blackcurrants, vanilla, and black orchid. The result is bursting with berry notes, though balanced by the floral wafts, creamy richness, and herbaceous spice. We reckon this will go rather well in a G&T with plenty of fresh berries thrown in as garnish, though it should also do handsomely in a twist on a Kir Royale, or perhaps a Bramble.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: Salted caramel, marmalade and a little gingerbread initially, then oily nuttiness, pink grapefruit bitterness and a soft, floral vanilla undertone develop.

Finish: Rich and smooth.
