A charming release from New Zealand’s Cardrona Distillery for The Source range of gins. Produced with locally foraged botanicals, the gin has then been treated to a good few months rest in an ex-bourbon barrel. The handwritten label informs us that this 200 litre barrel hailed from the legendary Heaven Hill distillery. Delicious oaken fruit and vanilla notes come through here, a fabulous sipper neat, would add great body to a G&T too!

The Source Bourbon Barrel Aged Gin | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Full-bodied aroma.

Palate: Bold wafts of crisp lime and citrus zest, with oaky, earthen juniper and sweet, creamy wafts of vanilla.

Finish: Lingering finish.
