Opens with a healthy Whiskey influence, followed by incredibly creamy vanilla, butterscotch, and caramel with honey and candied almonds on the end. Natural honey added from the families bee farm managed by Marie Cooney. A true family company! Great with lemonade, as an old fashioned (skip the sugar cube) or as a chilled shot.

Nose: Beautiful aromas of butterscotch, caramel and natural honey.

Palate: Smooth like a caramel candy.

Distillery Information

Boann Distillery, built at a cost of 20 million, is scheduled to start production in early 2017, but has sourced whiskey from a third party distillery to create its new The Whistler range.
