The recipe includes juniper, sage, green cardamom, black cardamom, angelica, elderflower, cassia, liquorice, pink peppercorn and more. The name comes from a type of small white flower the can grow on the roofs of thatched houses which, according to the lore, could ward off both lightning and witchcraft. Handy if you’re plagued by thunderstorms and witches.
