Nose: Fresh and appley, with barley (malted and not), sweet butter and lemon. Some sour apple and sweet pear drop sneak in around the sides.

Palate: Oily, with more butter and candied fruit. Some icing sugar and butter cream sweetness appear, with darkly sweet raisins and soft brown sugar.

Finish: Gentle spice, a pinch of orchard fruit and some dark sugar notes.
