It’s a 3 year old expression, and it boasts a full-bodied flavour profile packed full of red fruit notes and oily malt. The label features founder Ian Schmidt, and his parrot, along with a flagpole (Schmidt was once a flagpole salesman, we’ll have you know). There is something… Something different about this label, though… Can’t quite put our finger on it… Batch 1 is a release of 487 bottles. That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Nose: Almond, Bounty bars, red apples, blueberries, raspberries, and dense, rounded malt notes.

Palate: Enjoyably robust, with more of that toasty malt warmth balanced by juicy red berries and cakey vanilla.

Finish: Cherry liqueur, a smidge of cask char, orange peel.
