This M Whiskey starts with a soured 95% rye and 5% malted barley spirit. To create a local flavor we do a final aging in Minnesotas Alexis Bailly red wine barrels. Youll find scents of caramel, smoky vanilla, cinnamon, tart apple and a strong hint of Minnesota Nice.

Twin Spirits M Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: The first thing I unexpectedly get is a lot of pine. Also at the forefront is tart green apple and ripe pear.

Palate: The mouthfeel is noticeably soft and velvety. Its warm and spicy from the rye. It tastes a bit sour similar to to the Henry McKenna Sour Mash.

Finish: It is finished in red wine barrels from Alexis Bailly Vineyard in Minnesota.

Distillery Information

Twin Spirits Distillery was founded by Michelle Winchester as a one-woman distillery. It was the first such distillery in Minnesota since at least prohibition.
