Specifically, this whisky was distilled by Glen Moray in 1996, and matured in a single refill hogshead for 25 years. Ultimate Apple Pie 25 Year Old 1996 – Wemyss Malts (Glen Moray) Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Toasted brown sugar, ice-cream wafers, cooked pear and apple.

Palate: Marmalade, cinnamon, flaky pastry, quite buttery at points, before a flash of oaky spice.

Finish: Gingerbread, waxy apple peels, buttered bread.
