Umodzi Gin is a superb expression featuring a host of ingredients from across Africa, and distilled in Johannesburg, South Africa. The base spirit is made from sugarcane from Eswatini, and its botanicals include three types of cardamom (from Cameroon, Ghana, and Ethiopia), Moroccan coriander seed, mango from Malawi, black pepper and orchard nutmeg from Nigeria, and plenty more.

Umodzi Gin | 500ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Earthy spices arrive first, with a touch of peppery heat building.

Palate: Fresh mango and soft citrus sweetness mellows the spice, with oily juniper bringing it all together.

Finish: Quite long and warm.
